Aanal & Anoop at Pacific Palms Resort – City Of Industry, CA

It’s been such a busy past few weeks here at A Event Photography, so please forgive us for the recent silence! This week, our blog stars the adorable couple, Aanal and Anoop. The two first met in 2008 through Aanal’s cousin, Payal. Aanal was visiting Payal in Los Angeles when Payal decided to call up a bunch of her friends, which, as fate would have it, included Anoop. Aanal and Anoop started talking and they hit it off from there. Because Aanal went to school in Boston, Anoop would drive from Philly every few weeks to go see her. Anoop finally popped the question to Aanal at Disney World in July of 2012, and they had their engagement party later that same year. The two lovebirds tied the knot last month at the beautiful resort, Pacific Palms, located in the Los Angeles County. Our team could not help but smile ourselves as we witness the genuine happiness and love Aanal and Anoop share for each other. We wish you two all the best, and thank you for letting us be a part of your big day. My jaws literally dropped with envy. Those are some REALLY nice accessories. The couple’s elegant wedding invitations and their gorgeous rings Aanal’s beautifully embedded traditional bridal attire (lehenga-chunni) for her Sikh wedding Even her shoes have bling. What a lucky lady! The already beautiful Aanal getting her bridal makeup done The henna on Aanal’s feet really brings out the shine in her shoes! The many bracelets on the bride’s arms are called the chura. How can you not fall in love with that smile? The groom is preparing for his big day as his family helps him put on his turban and his sehra. Anoop has some pretty nice shoes himself! You know it’s going to be a big wedding if there’s seven bridesmaids. Anoop arrives on a horse for the meeting of the families. Your prince is on his way, Aanal! Both families exchange garlands and enjoy each other’s companies before the religious ceremony begins. The bride enters the Gurdwara and makes her debut. The bridesmaids are literally jumping for joy for the newly married couple. The couple changes outfits and they look so adorable as they match in purple. This is where the reception will take place – Pacific Palms. The crowd lifts the couple as they dance the night away as husband and wife. Looks like everyone is having a good time as they party with 3D Sounds, a DJ company owned by one of Anoop’s best friends!

Until next time,
K

Hadley & Terri

Aloha! Hope everyone’s weekend is off to a great start!
On behalf of A Event Photography, we are so honored to be a part of our good friends’ celebration. Hadley and Terri were married twenty years ago in Orange County, and afterwards, they decided to continue their futures together in Las Vegas. In light of their anniversary, Hadley and Terri decided to bring the family to Maui to renew their wedding vows, and with those renewed vows came new wedding rings as well! Hadley and Terri also presented new rings to their two beautiful children – Alexa and Jason – as a symbol of the parents’ commitment to their family. How adorable is that?
Congratulations, Hadley and Terri, on hitting the 20th year mark and here’s to another 20 years and beyond!

In Hawaiian tradition, the lei represents both reverence and love. It is an unbroken circle that signifies an everlasting commitment to each other.

Hadley and the rest of the gang look so excited as they wait for the beautiful bride.

Terri looks so gorgeous, with the wind blowing through her hair, as she walks down the aisle accompanied by her son.

It’s sweet how touched Alexa is by her parents’ celebration.

The couple steps into the circle to begin the ceremony.

You may now kiss the bride!

Terri returns the affection to Hadley.

Hadley renews his wedding vows.

Sunsets and the beach? The perfect combination!

Once again, congrats to the happy couple!

Vy & Son’s San Diego Engagement Session

Thank goodness it’s Friday!
This week’s blog highlights our engagement shoot with the adorable Vy and Son. The couple first met at the Vietnamese Youth Convention at UCI back in 2003, and within that same year, he asked her out on their first date. Ever since then, they’ve been inseparable. Distance was no issue for this wonderful pair, seeing how Son lived in Seattle and Vy was from San Diego. I guess absence really does make the heart grow fonder! Son proposed to Vy in July of 2012, and the two are tying the knot on September 21st of this year.
Son and Vy’s engagement photos were gorgeous. I can only imagine how much more beautiful their wedding photos will be!
Hope all is well with the lucky couple and we can not wait to see them again in September.

Every lady wants her man to bring her flowers. Good job, Son!

There’s nothing more romantic than a walk along the beach.

Vy is going to look so good in any wedding dress she chooses to wear.

This is such a cute picture!

Okay, I take that back. They’re all cute pictures!

I see Vy is taking a page out of Angelina Jolie’s book.

Congratulations, Son and Vy. You two make a beautiful couple.

Until next time,
K

Natalia & Devin

Happy Friday! Hope everyone’s week went well and that you all have exciting plans for the upcoming weekend.
This week, featured in our blog is the lovely couple – Natalia and Devin – who recently celebrated their wedding at Chart House in Dana Point. Natalia, who recently completed her PA program, and Devin, who is enrolled in medical school, met each other in high school and have been together ever since. Though the view at Dana Point was indeed breathtaking, all eyes were definitely on the happy couple.
On behalf of our team, we would like to extend our warm congratulations to Natalia and Devin on what is only the beginning of a loving and joyous lifetime together, and thank them for allowing us to witness this beautiful union.

What’s a party without some champagne?

Here are the two beautiful tokens to symbolize Natalia and Devin’s love and commitment to one another.

There’s no prettier accessory for a bride than her smile!

What a gorgeous gown.

The view from here is astonishing.

The bride is so stunning, standing alongside her lovely bridesmaids in blue.

This is my favorite picture of the couple.

Just married!

I am so loving this cake. What a cute beach theme!

The couple’s first official dance together as husband and wife.

Look at how happy the guys are for Devin!

The reception took place at Chart House.

Once again, congratulations!

Wishing you an eternity of shared love and happiness, Natalia and Devin.

Until next time,

Harpreet & Daljit

“They are not said to be husband and wife, who merely sit together. Rather they alone are called husband and wife, who have one soul in two bodies.”

I am so excited to blog about this Sikh wedding! The ceremony is also known as Anand Karaj, which literally translates into “blissful union” − a holy union between two souls − and I could not think of any better way to describe the magnificent marriage of the beautiful bride and her wonderful groom. The day was filled with such festivity and joy that we could not help but feel as if we joined the party ourselves! From the ravishing reds to the dazzling golds, the ceremony was splashed in shades that colored and was captured in the photographs beautifully. On behalf of A Event Photography, we would like to thank Harpreet and Daljit for allowing us to become a part of their radiant day.

Look at that gorgeous color combination, the striking border, and elegant font! Needless to say that the bride and groom have wonderful taste.

One word: wow.

Mehndi (or better known as Henna) is a ceremonial art form, typically applied to brides before their wedding ceremonies.

The bride getting her make-up done − I am in love with her ruby red lipstick!

The anticipation is evident as the ceremony draws closer! For the meeting of the families, the groom is keeping tradition alive by arriving on horseback. The horse’s embroidery is just magnificent.

It is tradition to have the groom wear a sehra (a headdress that covers his face) on the wedding day.

Look at how excited and joyful both families are for the happy couple!

The Barat ( the groom’s side) is heading to the Gurdwara, where the actual wedding will take place.

What a beautiful collection of Sikh wedding swords.

The formal part of the wedding ceremony is beginning in the Gurdwara.

My heart melts looking at these two lovebirds!

The bride is wearing a beautifully embroidered lehenga-chunni and is covering her head and shoulders with a dupatta, while the groom is wearing a dashing churidar pyjama with his head covered by a turban.

On the groom’s shoulders is a pulla, a shawl that links the bride and groom throughout the ceremony.

The couple has such beautiful bright smiles, they could light up any room together.

Just married!

This picture is worth more than a thousand words.

Wishing Harpreet and Daljit a future together as bright and beautiful as their wedding day. Have a happy Tuesday, my loves!
Until next time, K.
